Biography

Guangqiang He is a professor in both the Institute of Media, Information, and Network (M.I.N) and State Key Laboratory of Advanced Optical Communication Systems and Networks, Department of Electronic Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests mainly focus on integrated Kerr optical frequency comb, quantum optical frequency comb, quantum information processing and quantum secure communication.

Since he received his Ph.D. degree from SJTU in 2006, he has been with Department of Electronic Engineering in SJTU. During 2009-2010, he was a visiting scientist in both the Institute of Optics and Department of Physics and Astronomy of University of Rochester, USA. The host professor is J. H. Eberly, the President of the Optical Society of America (2007). He is a senior member and life member of OPTICA (formerly OSA) since 2019, and a member of the IEEE since 2014. He received 2017 SJTU SMC-A Excellent Young Faculty Awards, 2016 SJTU Second Prize of Zhuguang Award, and 2015 SJTU Special Prize of Teaching Achievement Award.

Dr. He published over 100 refereed journal and conference papers. His research projects are funded by Natural Science Foundation of China and the Key-Area Research and Development Program of Guangdong Province.
